How long is a typical wedding ceremony?

Anywhere from 10-20 minutes in length.

Where are you located?
We focus on Central Park in the Big Apple, New York City!

Where do I get my marriage license?

To get married in New York City, you must obtain a Marriage License from the NYC City Clerk’s Office at 141 Worth Street in Manhattan (near Chambers Street). Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:45pm. Important: there is a mandatory 24-hour waiting period after receiving your license before the ceremony can legally take place. Both partners must appear in person with valid ID to apply. The fee is $35. Your license is valid for 60 days from issue. We recommend applying at least 2-3 days before your ceremony date.

How do I get a Central Park wedding permit in 2026?

Getting a Central Park wedding permit in 2026 involves applying through the NYC Parks Department. Permits are required for groups of 20 or more people. We handle the entire permit process for all our clients as part of our packages — you don’t need to worry about a thing!

What is the best time of day for photos?

The golden hour — about one hour after sunrise or one hour before sunset — offers the most beautiful, warm light for wedding photos in Central Park. The soft, diffused light at this time creates a magical, romantic atmosphere. Morning sessions (7–9am) also work wonderfully as the park is less crowded and the light is excellent

How does a Central Park wedding compare to NYC City Hall?

A Central Park wedding offers a breathtaking outdoor setting amid one of the world’s most iconic landscapes, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your ceremony. NYC City Hall is a quick, no-frills option perfect for those who want to keep it simple, but it lacks the natural beauty and personalized experience of a Central Park ceremony. Central Park weddings allow for photography in spectacular settings, more customized ceremonies, and a more romantic, memorable experience overall..
